Unclear what exactly led up to this, but as you can see ... a larger man is hovering on the outskirts of the action, and as the dude in the hat gets riled up, he blasts him in the face. You can tell it got him directly in the eyes, because he screams out in pain and runs away -- but unfortunately for him ... some other guy who was in the mix took advantage of his weakened state, because he started beating up this blinded man ... mercilessly so too.
