The 45-year-old Hall of Fame receiver hit up the beach in Miami on Thursday ... lounging around with the mystery woman and catching some rays, laughing and taking pics on his phone.
We haven't been able to ID the beach babe yet ... but we're working on it.
While TO doesn't budge from his spot (why would he??) ... the mystery lady doesn't hesitate takin' a dip in the water to cool off. We take it he was snappin' pics for her the whole time.
Owens has proven he's still in incredible shape and could probably make a return to pro football if he really wanted to ... but after looking at these pics -- WHY WOULD HE!?!?!
