Cardi shared a sultry shot of herself on a private jet Saturday, wearing nothing but black lingerie and rocking some long pink hair with the caption ... "im on my way to you."

Cardi was in L.A. this week shooting a music video with Selena Gomez and Ozuna for a new DJ Snake track, so our guess is she's on her way back to her husband Offset and their baby, Kulture ... who will both undoubtedly be happy to see her.

As we reported ... Cardi and Offset gave us a first glimpse of their newborn Wednesday after keeping her under wraps for a little more than a month. Oh, did we mention Cardi had a baby just 6 weeks ago?!

This isn't the first time she's flaunted her amazing new mom bod ... she slayed in a beautiful purple dress Monday night at the VMAs too.

And that's why she calls herself the "empress."
