12:30 PM PT -- We talked to Williams' attorney, Chip Lewis, who tells us his client was as truthful as possible when he issued a statement following the crash where he denied hitting the light pole.
Lewis says Williams closed his eyes as he braced for impact when he veered off the road. Lewis says it is possible that Williams hit the light pole -- however, Terrance doesn't recall that part of the crash.
In addition, Lewis says that Williams hit his head during the crash ... and that could account for some memory issues. Lewis plans to send Williams to a neurological doctor.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrance Williams appeared to be a drunken mess when cops found him after his Lamborghini crash ... and now TMZ Sports has the videos and the photos.
The Frisco PD says the responded the crash scene around 4:40 AM on May 19th -- and saw a blue 2017 Lambo Huracan smashed next to a light pole with no driver inside.
Cops say they found Williams a short distance away ... who appeared WASTED drunk while riding an electric bicycle.
In fact, cops say they watched him falling over the bike -- and it's on video.
When cops were grilling Williams about the accident, he said he wasn't the driver, according to the police report ... and blamed the crash on an "idiot" friend Kendall Wright.
According to the police report, Terrance said Kendall left the crash scene and went to a club -- but called Terrance to let him know where to find the car.
Cops didn't believe Terrance ... because Williams' cell phone was actually inside the Lambo.
Plus, cops say they found the key to the vehicle in Terrance's pocket when they searched him.
Terrance later released a statement saying he did NOT hit a light pole -- and only crashed after swerving to avoid a driver in front of him who had slammed on the brakes. Williams didn't say what he hit, only saying he hopped the curb.
But, the photos show the Lambo right next to a downed light pole ... with obvious damage to the front left side of the car.
